Yonder Mountain String Band is a progressive bluegrass band from Nederland, Colorado. They have developed both a bluegrass and jam band fan base due to their unique style of bluegrass. They have played shows with artists like Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Railroad Earth and the Emmitt-Nershi Band. They performed at the 2008 Democratic National Convention as well as their hometown festival, NedFest. Between studio and live recordings, they have released ten albums to-date on independent record label Frog Pad Records, which is also run by the band.
