Julia Nunes is a singer/songwriter from Fairport, New York. She rose to fame via You Tube, in which she posted videos of herself covering pop songs. She is known for singing harmony with herself and playing acoustic instruments such as the ukulele, guitar, melodica and piano. She has opened for the likes of Ben Kweller and Ben Folds, one of her idols, and won the 2007 Bushman World Ukulele Video Contest. She has also toured England and performed at Bonnaroo.
