Jim Siemer is surprised when he talks with someone who lived their entire life in Columbus, Ohio but they have never visited the Lake Erie shores and islands. Jim has teamed up with Lake Erie Shores & Islands to use his art to encourage Columbus residents to stay close to home and experience the wonderful Lake Erie region. In 1983, Jim Siemer's family built a cottage on Middle Bass Island where he was inspired by the beauty and splendor of the Lake Erie area to begin painting watercolors. Jim is honored to exhibit his Lake Erie watercolors painted over the last 20 years to reveal to Columbus residents that the Lake Erie region is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
