This walk through the thriving city of Columbus will take you past the Platte County Courthouse, the Columbus Fire Department, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and through the Columbus Cemetery to view historic graves. The path proceeds along the Loup River. The Union Pacific main line, where over 120 trains per day pass, bisects your trail on this nice walk.
