Description
Saturday, August 22- 12:00-4:00 p.m. A day of creativity at the studio! Make a lovely mixed media torso working with a papier-mâché base. Embellish with vintage ephemera (sewing patterns, letters, maps, book text), decorative European papers, pressed botanicals, ribbons, fibers, pins, beads, charms, paints and gesso. Learn how to construct a raised, dressmaker's form base from a variety of materials. Just in time to create a piece for the upcoming True to Form gallery show. Each participant receives a credit to source materials from EP's Studio Shop and a wide variety of materials will be on hand. Saws, drills will be on hand in the downstairs workshop for the adventurous. Bring a basic tool kit and materials themed to interest.
