Four-time Grammy winner Dianne Reeves, after a European tour, will join the orchestra for the tribute to Vaughan, who burst onto the music scene in 1942 as a winner of an Apollo Theater amateur night and went on to perform with big bands and as a solo act. Ella Fitzgerald called Vaughan, who died in 1990, the world's "greatest singing talent."
