There is an indoor playground at Westerville Christian Church. This would be a great place to take the kids in the winter. Unfortunately, their hours are limited to the following: Sunday 11:45am -12:30pm Monday 6:00pm - 8:00pm Tuesday 9:30am - 11:00am 6:00pm - 8:00pm Wednesday 6:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday 9:30am - 11:00am Friday CLOSED (open 9:30-11:00 1st, 3rd, 5th Fridays to MOPS members and their friends- that means YOU! It will be less crowded on these days.) Saturday 10:00am - 12:00pm 9:30am - 12:00pm 471 East College Ave., Westerville, OH‎ - (614) 891-6842‎ No Fee, but lots of rules! Don't forget socks!!! GENERAL RULES CP is open only to children 2-12 years of age (see below, there is a toddler area). Children 5 and under must be supervised by one of their own parents who must stay inside the play area. Restrooms are available in the CP area. Older siblings age 14 and older are permitted to supervise younger siblings. If you are a childcare provider (14 yrs and older) or an adult bringing friendsÂÂ' children, etc., you are responsible for those children. When in CP, children are required to remove their shoes and wear socks, no exceptions. Socks can be purchased for $1 per pair for those who forget to bring them. No food or beverages are permitted in Central Park during open play. The WCC sickness/illness policy applies to CP. The policy will be posted in CP and given to parents to read and sign when they register their child for CP. There will be no ÂÂ"drop-inÂÂ" playtime permitted. Regular CP volunteers or WCC members cannot open up CP for play. Posted hours must be observed for safety and liability reasons. NO EXCEPTIONS. CP will remain open until 12:30 p.m. on Sunday mornings. All CP rules & guidelines must be observed. Children are not permitted to climb on the outside of the play equipment. This should be enforced by the parents and will be enforced by the WCC park ranger on duty. Appropriate language and behavior are expected of children and adults at all times while in CP. DROP OFF GUIDELINES When children come to CP for the first time, their parents/responsible adult must register them, and read and sign a guideline sheet and waiver. Children cannot be "dropped off" inside the church but must be signed in by the parent/responsible adult who brings them to the building. The sign-in information will include the building location where the parent/responsible adult plans to be. Parents who leave their children (over 5 years of age) in CP must remain in the church at all times, and leave a building location (and cell phone number if available) so they can be notified if their child is ill or unruly. CPÂÂ's toddler area, when opened, is for children under 24 months old. A parent must remain with his or her toddler at all times. DISCIPLINE POLICY Discipline Policy for unsupervised children between 6-12 years of age: 1st Warning -- Verbal 2nd Warning -- Time out 3rd Warning ÂÂ- Parent will be notified and child will be asked to leave CP for the remainder of the open hours that day.
