Columbus Salsa Fest 7 with Eddie Torres - November 13-15th, 2009

Everything kicks off on Friday the 13th with a 2 hour shines and Pachanga class taught by the master himself, Eddie Torres. With almost 50 years of teaching, Eddie's classes are as fun as they are intense. Later, Friday evening, we'll be treated to performances by Eddie & Melissa Rosado as well as some of Columbus' own talents. Friday night will also feature DJ Jimmy C from Cleveland playing all the best Latin dance music around. Salsa mania continues Saturday morning with several workshops including afro-cuban, chacha, salsa shines & partner-work. After classes, Sammy DeLeon y su Orchestra are coming down from Cleveland to play some of the best live salsa we have ever heard in Columbus. But that's not all...DJ Dario Gonzalez is coming all the way from LA to spin the best classic salsa between sets. Workshops will continue on Sunday morning with Ladies styling followed by partner-work, and samba. Columbus Salsa Fest will finish up Sunday afternoon with a salsa social featuring DJ Dario.
