Description
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Blooms & Butterflies, Franklin Park Conservatory will host it's most exotic butterfly experience ever. Thousands of butterflies, consisting of dozens of different species from around the world, will released in the conservatory's Pacific Island Room. The butterflies, ranging from one-and-a half inches to 12 inches, hail from such places as North America, Central America, Asia and Africa. In summertime, the outdoor butterfly garden located at the conservatory's entrance will be in full bloom to attract butterfly species native to Ohio. At the Butterfly Discovery Center, visitors of all ages can learn about what it is like to be a butterfly. Newly emerged butterflies are released at 1 and 3 p.m. daily.
