Alum Creek Paddle....

This paddle will be a relatively easy paddle at Alum Creek. We will meet at the Howard Rd. boat ramp and go from there. We can stop midway for a small lunch break and then head back to our launch point. Expect the paddle to be finished somewhere in the vicinity of 3-3:30pm Now that we are entering into colder weather, please be sure to bring a complete second set of clothing (from your coat and gloves down to your underwear) protected in a watertight bag or container...and make sure that both sets of clothes you have (the ones you're wearing and the spares) are nice and warm....unless, of course, we get a nice indian summer with some 80 degree weather :) . Also, be prepared for a last minute cancelation in case of bad weather conditions such as high wind or cold rain. I sure hope to see ya all there! EDIT....Directions to Howard Rd. boat ramp. I'll post these starting at Rt 71. From 71, take the 36/37 exit and head west (turn left if you're exiting 71 northbound). Turn right (heading north) on Three B's and a K Rd. (it will be about a half mile from the 71 exit). Drive for about a mile or so and turn left on Howard Rd. The boat ramp will be about a mile ahead on your left. It's a bit easy to pass....if you go accross the water on a bridge, you just passed it....it's right before the bridge.
