That's right, Mac's gained instant popularity in the past 2 months by going viral not once, but twice. Taking everyone by surprise one early Weds morning Mac uploaded an instant hit he recorded while cooking his favorite breakfast, pancakes. One day later, the video had 1.3 million views (currently up to nearly 20 millions) and he's doing a phone interview with Ryan Seacrest. As if this instant fame wasn't enough, Mac's project "Texts From Bennett" (a collection of text messages sent by his cousin Bennett) went viral at the same time. Long time Mac Lethal fans are taken aback by his instant fame, noticing his number of FaceBook fans double in 32 hours and their streams filled with people discovering music many of us already consider classics. Though his "making it big" is a long time coming and well earned, I don't think anyone expected their little sisters to talking about how awesome he is quite so soon. One person said: "I'm usually the one posting Mac Lethal videos, but I logged into FaceBook today to find country music and Miley Cyrus fans posting his stuff" Mac's website, Lethalville.net, was down for several hours today when his host's firewall thought the massive spike in traffic was a DoS attack. Even the computers were asking "what the fuck is going on?" One thing is clear, the world was ready to find a rapper who doesn't suck - and Uncle Mac just filled the hole.
