Description
Mon-Sat 6AM - 10PM; Sun 7AM-10PM. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Trail rating is 2. The 10km walk is along sidewalks and pathways in the community of Huntington, with a scenic segment parallel with the Little Patuxent River on the Patuxent Branch Trail with the Historic Truss Bridge. This trail has some segments with moderate inclines more difficult for strollers. The trail circles Lake Elkhorn in the Village of Owen Brown. Water and restrooms are available at McDonalds; there are no restrooms or water along the trail. A 5 km trail is available within the DIckinson neighborhood of Kings Contrivance.
