Storytelling & the Art of Acting w/ Third Wheel Collective

How do we practice a performing art such as music, storytelling or acting? What practices and tools are necessary to uncover and free an individualized artistic expression? There are many approaches to these questions and together, over the course of the weekend, we will attempt to elucidate some practical methods that can be useful for anyone’s artistic practice and journey. Through embodied exercises in movement, voice and speech, scene work and discussion, we will endeavor to deepen our understanding and practices of storytelling and the art of acting.  For storytellers of all kinds: movement and dance artists, actors, and musicians, 16 years old and up  July 12-15th 2019 Cost: $150 (includes simple vegetarian meals) - Scholarships are available please contact us for more information.  Please pre-register as we will only run the workshop if there are a minimum number of partcipants.  Facilitated by Third Wheel Collective Co-Founders: Meaghan Witri and Séamus Maynard Séamus Maynard completed his degree in acting at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
