Whether you are an accomplished or new runner, avid walker, exercise enthusiast, or a family who just loves spending time together, join us on Labor Day—Monday, September 7th — to test your fitness followed by an End Zone Party complete with a breakfast buffet, awards, door prizes, and lots of great people just like you! 15K (9.3
Course Description:
While the 5K runners and walkers never leave campus, 15K participants enjoy the sights and sounds of campus life as well as the quaint Denny Terrace neighborhood. The last section of the 5K and 15K courses takes participants past a peaceful lake and student housing before the final stretch in the shady woods on a dirt path.
Location and Facilities:
Hathaway-Weeber Stadium at Ben Lippen School (on the campus of Columbia International University)
7435 Monticello Road
Columbia, South Carolina
(I-20 to Exit 68. North on 215 / Monticello Road about two miles.)
Distances:
15K Run, 5K Run/Walk, 15k Relay (each person runs a 5k) and Kid's Fun Run.
Classes, Costs, and Awards:
COST:15k $30 online/$40 day of
5k: $25 online/ $35 day of
15k relay: $75 per team/$105 day of
Kid's fun run: $5 online. $10 day of
AWARDS: Top Female and Male Finisher
Top Female and Male Masters (40+) Finisher
Top Three Female and Male Finishers Per Age (Age Groups: 14 and Under; 15 – 19; 20 – 24; 25 – 29; 30 – 34; 35 – 39; 40 – 44; 45 – 49; 50 – 54; 55 – 59; 60 – 64; 65 – 69; 70+)
