Event details: Walking Event: New Santa Fe Trail
Description
The trail is rated 2+ and will go north along Monument Creek with views of Pikes Peak. The route includes the new trail connection between the Pikes Peak Greenway trail and the New Santa Fe trail. The route consists mostly of well maintained gravel with some asphalt and includes a couple of small hills. All terrain hikers are recommended footwear. The trail is suitable for large wheeled jogging strollers. Wheelchairs are not recommended. Leashed pets are welcome. Restrooms available at the start/finish. WATER: Water, candy, energy bars and beverages are available at the start/finish. Carrying water is highly recommended. A awards are limited to quantities on hand. Special Event: Railroad: Santa Fe
