Event details: Metropolises of Eastern Europe
Description
Since 1999 the series of concerts has been directing its intention to the musical world of the metropolises in the east, which are growing more and more towards the western Europe. Its becoming more and more fascinating to go to Krakau, Riga, Tallinn or St. Petersburg - citys of dense atmosphere. Musicians of these cities are ambassadors of their own rich tradition - refreshing the wish to visit these cities.
Enjoy two rising stars of classical music on the road to success: Michael Sanderling conducts and the Echo-awarded Martin Stadtfeld with the even more youthfull German String Philharmony for the second time at the Cologne Philharmony. At the first time the audition spended standing ovations.
