R[3vol]ution Organizational Meeting for SDs 1, 3, 5, and 22

Please RSVP at convention@ocati.org as well as on this Meetup. ***** Please see https://forum.ocati.org/index.php?t=msg&th=676&start=0& for further information and to participate in ongoing discussion in preparation for these meetings. ***** A series of district meetings is being called for Texas in January 2009, to facilitate the Grassroots Freedom Movement in Texas discussing what will be needed to support the cause of Liberty in Texas politics and life. These meetings will be organized by SD (State Senatorial District) and held as Mass Meetings under Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised, 10th edition. Each SD will elect delegates to attend a statewide meeting to be held at the end of February. At the statewide meeting, each SD will have a proportional voting strength equivalent to the votes cast for Dr. Paul for President in the March 2008 primary in that SD divided by the total statewide vote for Dr. Paul for President in the March 2008 Texas Republican Primary. The cost is $25.00 per person to cover facility costs and includes lunch at the Hilton. PAYMENT IS NOT REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE, but meetings will not be called to order until any deposit and seed money for this location has been repaid to those that provided it in good faith to secure this location. If individual registration payments collected by 10:30 on the morning of the meeting do not cover costs, we will pass a hat until costs are met. We will not start in debt.
