Event details: Gesel Mason - Open Discussion
Description
Women, Sex & Desire
Join Gesel Mason for a discussion of issues surrounding sexuality and desire and be a part of the creative process for her new project premiering in the Clarice Smith Center’s Kogod Theatre March 25-27. Women, Sex, and Desire: Sometimes You Feel Like a Ho, Sometimes You Don't is a multi-media investigation on how women navigate sex, desire, choice and perception. The project is meant to challenge our cultural programming, examine our belief systems, and reflect the struggle, humor, and pleasure we encounter as sexual beings in an effort to empower ourselves and inform our sexual choices - whatever they may be. This discussion is free and open to the public. Men and women of all ages are welcome to attend, however the mature subject matter may not be suitable for those under the age of 18. Come if you're curious, nervous, confident, shy, vocal, sexually-active, celibate, judgmental, open-minded, modest, ostentatious, fearless, scared, young, old, opinionated, indifferent. ALL PERSPECTIVES ARE WELCOME. Come to share, learn and challenge perceptions of women today. The session is scheduled to last from 1PM to 4PM.
