Description
Terps will join thousands of others committed to raising awareness about homelessness in the annual DC Help the Homelessness Walkathon. You can pre-register online at http://www.helpthehomelessdc.org/ make sure to sign up for the University of Maryland team! Registration for 25 years old and under is $15, registration for those older than 25 years old is $25. For more information contact Mark Mifsud at mmifsud@umd.edu. Meet us in front of Stamp Student Union bright and early at 6 AM for free breakfast. Then we will take the UM Shuttle and Metro into DC to the National Mall. Actual registration begins at 7 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m. {Will appear in FYI on Nov 21, 2008
