Light up your evening at the BCC Planetarium as we bring you the burning of the Yule log, sparkling Christmas trees, candles in the windows, luminaries and the traditional ritual of lighting the Menorah. Feast in the multicultural traditions of the winter solstice. Rituals from ancient Christian, Jewish, Celtic, Nordic, Roman, Irish, Mexican and Hopi cultures are presented, along with more modern traditions of kissing under the mistletoe, caroling, and gift giving.
