Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
11200 York Rd, Cockeysville, MD, 410-527-1500. From I-83 take exit 20A, Shawan Rd East. Proceed to York Rd, MD Rte 45. Turn right on York Rd to the first light at Ashland Rd. Inn is on the right. After registering, you will drive to the different locations on the NCR trail to start. Event Description: Call for holiday hours. There are 3 options available, each of which starts at a different location. Directions to each location are contained in the Start Box. Option one: Ashland, 25 km; Option two: Monkton, 26 km; Option three: Freeland, 25 km. All options are on the NCR trail, a converted railroad bed of finely crushed stone. Much of trail is in the shade beside streams. Trail is greatly affected by inclement weather. Pets must be leashed with clean up. A Baltimore county event.
