Movie Screening

ESC member Lucian Tion has set up another screening of his movie, specifically for our meetup and friends. The movie is about 45 minutes long, in Romanian with English subtitles. It is called "Parastasul lui Viorel nu se mai tine aici" or "The Vigil Isn't Held Here Anymore." Lucian writes: "Just a heads up that it is a comedy about a bunch of Transylvanian peasants attending a sex addicts therapy group. The film is currently being considered by HBO for the pilot of an upcoming series. It got a prize in Kosice in June, and it has been officially selected for the October Pecs International Film Festival, Hungary." The Sept 2nd screening will take place in the new film screening room at Insomnia that has also been used by TIFF this year.
