My mom and I attended the Willie Nelson concert on Oct 28. My mother is his biggest fan and she has waited for this show for a year - through two separate postponements. We will NEVER attend another event at this venue. I purchased out tickets the DAY they went on sale an entire year ago...at SEVEN FLAGS, not through ticket master or any other source, right there at the venue so I could ask questions. I was told THAT DAY that the Willie show would be all general admission seating, one price and there would be seating, first come-first serve basis. When we arrived for the show this past Thurs evening, an usher showed us to our seats (marked with masking tape!!!). Soon thereafter two other ladies said that we were in their seats and their tickets did look very different than ours. They said they purchased their tickets TWO days prior to the show!!! Well, given that this was the case, I definitely felt I should clear this up, because something had to be wrong! When I sought out the "concert promoter", he was smug, rude and pointed out that my ticket said "gen adm" which I of course knew...but I was trying to tell him what I was told when I purchased the tickets. And now come to find out tickets that were sold later were done so under the premise that you needed to pay more for actual seats, and gen admission ticket holders would stand in what looked like a corral in the back! This unprofessional man was unwilling to speak with me further and had a smart-ass smirk on his face the entire time. Nice. Then this poor woman standing next to me was practically in tears because her disabled father was guaranteed a "handicapped" seating area, and now couldn't even enter the building as there was no such "handicapped accessible" seating. And folks, if that isn't enough...when we went to leave the show, it took FIFTY minutes of sitting in a total traffic jam to get out. No cops were directing traffic...we saw people calling law enforcement themselves from their cell phones. AV

I am so very disappointed in your Willie Nelson concert. I spent $53 for a General Admission ticket, and was NEVER told that it would be standing only in the back. Not only was that unfair, the concert sucked on top of that. I would never have spent that kind of money for a ticket had I known that it was to stand in the very back. The least you should do is inform people what they get for seating. I was standing in the midst of a number of people that purchased Gen Admission tickets that had no idea they would be STANDING. I, for one, will never spend another cent coming to any event you sponsor.
