Concentrating Photovoltaic Work and Solar Equipment Simulation Dr. Robert F. Boehm, Director of Energy Research Center, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, along with Dr. Yitung Chen, Co-Director of the Energy Research Center will be here at Glenn to present, “Concentrating Photovoltaic Work and Solar Equipment Simulation. ” The Center for Energy Research is focused on renewable energy research projects and training. Among the various projects addressed are: major project with Pulte Homes and NV Energy on reducing peak electrical demand in houses, a Zero Energy House, concentrating photovoltaic systems, solar/hybrid lighting, hydrogen filling station and hydrogen vehicle conversions, and several other renewable energy projects. We are excited to have the opportunity to learn about some of these innovative research efforts.
