HVI / UL 2012 Spring Meeting

REGISTRATION DISCOUNT CODES

CERTAIN ATTENDEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS.

If you are the designated representative for a current HVI-Member Company in good standing, you may use your annual Meeting Credit to cover the cost of your registration. Remember, the Meeting Credit is a "use it or lose it" assessment so if you don't use it for this meeting or the Annual Meeting in September 2012, it will be forfeited. Your company-specific Discount Code will be emailed to you directly.

If you are a representative of an HVI-Designated Laboratory, contact hvi@hvi.org to obtain your Discount Code for 50% discount off the Full Registration fee. Discounts are not offered for the evening social functions.

If you have any questions about which Discount Codes are applicable to you, please contact Jacki Donner at hvi@hvi.org.

If you use a Discount Code for which you are not eligible, the HVI Staff will cancel your registration and contact you to make appropriate payment arrangements.

LOCATION / ACCOMMODATIONS

Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Clearwater Beach, Florida

Group Lodging Rate / Reservations

The hotel has set aside a limited number of rooms at a special reduced rate for our group. When you call, be sure to tell them that you are attending the "HVI meeting" to take advantage of the cost savings. The cut-off date for this special rate is January 28, 2012. Reservation requests made after this date will be accepted based on availability and will be charged at the hotel's prevailing public rates. The discounted rate is offered 3 days pre- and post-meeting based on room availability.

$199.00 per night (single/double) plus applicable federal, state and local taxes

Meeting attendees are responsible for making their own lodging reservations and must do so by January 28, 2012. Be advised the Sheraton Sand Key Resort is a popular destination hotel and rooms will disappear quickly. You are encouraged to make your reservation early to ensure availability at reasonable rates. It is highly unlikely the hotel will extend our group rate past the January 28 deadline.

Parking / Ground Transportation

Parking is complimentary for hotel guests and meeting attendees. This hotel does not provide it own shuttle service.

EVENT REGISTRATION

Event registration is separate from lodging reservations. All attendees must pre-register to ensure meals and space availability.

Meeting registration and payment must be received at HVI Headquarters by January 28, 2012 to ensure space and meal availability.

Registration fees will be refunded upon written notice of cancellation received at HVI Headquarters no later than January 28, 2012. All registrations canceled, regardless of when they are received, will be subject to a $60 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after January 28, 2012; however, substitutions are permitted so long as HVI staff is notified in advance.

During discussions involving HVI-designated laboratories, each will be offered the opportunity to be interviewed independently of its competitors.

A detailed agenda for the UL 507/705 STP meeting will be disseminated directly by UL approximately 1 month prior to the event.

A detailed agenda for the HVI/UL Technical Forum will be disseminated by HVI approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.

A detailed agenda for the HVI General Membership Meeting will be disseminated by HVI approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.
