Description
The Pow Wow is a Northern Traditional Pow Wow. It is being held at the Expo II Building located on the Clearfield County Fairgrounds on November 7th and 8th, 2009. Native American music, dance, and craftwork are showcased. This is our 10th year. Our theme is Celebrating Youth. Dance sessions begin at 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm on Saturday and 12:30 pm on Sunday. Highlights include vendors, cub scout/girl scout program, craft show and special guest, Irene Bedard. Irene provided the voice of Pocahontas for Disney. She also starred in Smoke Signals, Squanto A Warriors Tale, and #8 Loves Long Journey. HOST DRUM MacKenzie River INVITED GUEST DRUMS Morning Star Singers Four Winds Singers All other drums welcome Head Dancers are Matthew Kennedy and Melia Anderson Junior Head Dancers are Tucker Jamieson and Savannah Brumbaugh VETERANS COORDINATOR, Tom House WHIPMAN, Mike and Hunter Reed MC, Rich Williams and Ken Green ARENA DIRECTORS, Tom Taylor and Jennifer Durr
