Walking Event: Hills

Daily, 7:30 am to dusk. There are two routes available but only one stamp. The main event (Claremont Hills) is rated 4 due to a long hill at the beginning. The route is in a primitive, beautiful park in the San Gabriel mountains with diverse trees and wildlife and a spectacular view of the valley on the descent. The second route is rated 1 and travels along a bike trail, thru a park and the local community. The weather can be very hot so walk early,carry water, use a hat and sunscreen.
