A lot of you drive by the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati up there off I-75 and have wondered what it's about. Even if you don't drive by, I'm sure you've wondered what it must be like to be Muslim in America. Well I have been curious too, so Wanderlust has secured our own private tour of the facility Wednesday evening, November 18th at 6:30pm. The Center, who's members come from all over the world, is very open and welcoming to visitors and I would really like to encourage everyone to attend. Kids? Bring 'em!!! Grandparents? Bring 'em!! Spouse? Niece? Nephew? Aunt? Uncle? You get the idea! BRING' EM! Just please note how many on your RSVP. Please allow 1.5 hours for the tour. Directly following the tour we will be meeting up at Starbucks for a warm drink and good conversation. IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! We are happy to confirm the scheduled visit for your group to the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati. You are scheduled for a tour on Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 6:30 p.m The visit will encompass a 30 to 40 minute talk followed by a tour of the facility lasting about an hour. Questions are welcomed and encouraged during the visit. If there are any specific questions that your group would like us to cover during the talk, or any lessons that you have studied on Islam, please forward those to us prior to your visit so that we may better tailor our talk to your needs. All visitors to the Islamic Center are requested to observe the Islamic requirement for dress and demeanor when entering the prayer area. Specifically, women are asked to bring scarves for head covering and wear either skirts that are at least mid-calf length, or loose fitting pants and long-sleeved blouses.
