To the Nines Gala

To the Nines will be an evening filled with all the glamour, elegance, beauty and fun imbued in the gorgeous photography of Richard Avedon. The concurrent exhibition, Avedon Fashion Photographs 1944–2000 serves as muse for this year’s gala event. Imagine an evening with interiors bathed in black and white and where fashion and photography encapsulate the night. The evening will start with inventive cocktails, moving onto a sumptuous seated dinner and ending with dancing until the wee hours of the morning in our club! Along the way, we will take time to recognize an extraordinary friend of the museum, A. Alfred Taubman. We will salute him and dedicate the A. Alfred Taubman Wing of European Art.

All of this creates an evening not to be missed. One night only….and only at the DIA!
