Northern Boundary Hike
Winton Woods / 10:00 a.m.
The northern boundary of Winton Woods is a wild, interesting landscape with lots of room to explore. This will be a strenuous off-trail hike on ground that is sometimes uneven and steep. Deadline to register is November 12.
Turkey Day Open
Miami Whitewater Forest / 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Any and all species of fish will be weighed with no catch limit (except trout and bass). On the line: two delicious turkeys just in time for the holidays! Entry fee is $40.00 per team and includes boat rental. Call (513) 367-9632 for more information.

Hike Around the Lake
Winton Woods Pavilion / 2:00 p.m.
Take a walk along 1.7 miles paved trail around Winton Lake while you enjoy the wildlife and the stark beauty of early winter.

Bring your family to discover the folklore of Ohio’s most fascinating creatures. Learn the truth behind the story and meet some of the animals.
Thanksgiving on the Ohio Frontier
Shawnee Lookout Historic Cabin / 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Step back in time 200 years to the first day of public thanksgiving on the Ohio frontier. Talk with historical interpreters of the Society of Northwest Longhunters dressed as Shawnee Native Americans, early European settlers, and military personnel. Exchanges between Native Americans and settlers will occur at 2, 3, 4 and 5 pm. Samples of period fare will be available from 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
