Saturday, November 28, 2009 (12:00 pm - 2:00 pm) Part of the "Follow the North Star" family activities, this once a month, Saturday program will provide a fun and interactive experience for children and their families. After the harvest in the late summer of corn, children in the 1800s often created dolls out of cornhusks, the leftover parts of the corn. With a few husks and some string, kids can have their own cornhusk doll, modeled after a popular Native American design.
