Alaska Adventure 16 day trip

*** Commitment needed by January 25th *** Spend 16 days in North America's last great wilderness. This trip begins in Anchorage, Alaska and then on to Seward where we will camp and explore Resurrection Bay, up close and personal by guided kayak tour. Look for: An incredible variety of seabird-life, bird rookeries, sea otters, waterfalls on the shore line, dall porpoises, sea lions and more! Day two takes us on a boat tour further out where we'll explore the Kenai Fjords. Look for: Orca's, breaching humpbacks, bald eagles, and calving glaciers. Dine on fresh caught salmon or prime rib for dinner! Then on to Denali by train for 9 days of camping in Alaska's wilderness. From Fodar's "Alaska": "Welcome to Denali. You are about to enter one of the country's most pristine, wildlife-rich parks. Explorers across the globe dream of visiting this vast wilderness. Comprised of healthy forests, great tundra expanses, the continent's tallest mountain, and a huge roster of resident wildlife, Denali is teeming with adventure and possibility." Look for Denali's charismatic mega fauna: wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, moose, and dall sheep. "Visitors who have the time, experience, and know-how to spend days or even weeks in the backcountry will gain a more intimate connection with this place..." Trip includes 16 total days of travel, kayak tour, boat tour, 13 day-hike opportunities, 11 nights camping and 4 nights hotel. Approximate cost $1,850 not including food.
