Northwest Cafe

This is something different, particularly for the far northwest neighborhoods of Chicago. We named it "Friday Night Love Songs," because (a) it's held on Friday nights, generally about once a month, and (b) we hire performers who play love songs, particuarly those that people know and can sing along to. The event is sponsored by the newly-created Friendship Presbyterian Church. Our goal is not to make you a member of our church, but to provide you the opportunity to help others and have fun doing so. At this event, you will find out about CROP Walk, a 25+ year tradition supported by schools and churches to raise funds to fight hunger and displacement worldwide including right here in Norwood Park. Maybe you'll give a donation or even sign up to walk with us on September 27th. In any event, we will touch your heart and spirt with Friday Night Love Songs. So come check it out.
