A new puppy is exciting. There's the beloved puppy breath, the pitter-patter of four tiny feet, and the all around adorable-overload. And while there is lots of "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing in the first few months of puppy ownership, there can also be lots of "ouch!"ing and "no!"ing, if you're not careful.
This Dabble class is designed to guide you through the three most important training techniques to put into practice while your pup is young: bite inhibition; potty training and socialization. Learn the vocab behind these three training strategies, and get instruction on how to put each into practice.
This is a learning opportunity for humans AND puppies, as your pooches will have the chance to socialize with other dogs to learn the critical social manners necessary to be happy and well-adjusted. We'll start you on the right track to teaching basic cues: sit, let's go, wait, come and drop, and class will conclude with a comprehensive Q & A session.
Puppies 5 months and younger only, please and proof of vaccinations required.
Be prepared to learn, have fun and take home a VERY tired puppy. At least for a couple hours.
