Description:
The Demotic Summer School provides an opportunity for scholars who are publishing Demotic texts to share the texts on which they are working and to receive suggestions from their colleagues on the reading and interpretation of difficult passages.

The Roundtable ‘Digital Demotic’ will bring together the editors of the Chicago Demotic Dictionary, some of its users (the participants at the Summer School), and editors of other digital humanities projects at the University of Chicago, in order to assess what can and should be done with the dictionary in its next phase.
