Description
Don those jeans and boots (but maybe leave the spurs at home) on Mondays and Tuesdays, which feature country/western dancing from 7:30-10 p.m, Wednesdays feature salsa from 7:30-11 p.m. at a cost of $10; Fridays offer a singles dance at 8 p.m. for $9; and Sunday afternoons host ballroom dancing to a live orchestra from 2-5 p.m. or swing dance at night. Complimentary lessons are avilable prior to all dances, except for ballroom dancing.
Founded in 1921, the Willowbrook Ballroom offers a 6,000 square-foot maple-sprung dance floor and bears the distinction of being one of only five ballrooms of its magnitude remaining in the United States. No jeans or gym shoes for all dances unless otherwise posted.
