Description
We will show "Waiting to Inhale: Marijuana, medicine and the Law" at 7pm at the Peter Jones Gallery (1806 W. Cuyler, Chicago, near the Irving Park "Brown Line" stop). Refreshments and discussion to follow. Waiting to Inhale is "the first documentary to examine the movement to legalize Cannabis for medical use." This meeting will provide a starting point for discussion of the War on Drugs, drug policy in general, criminal justice, civil liberties and related issues.
