Picnic at the Park: Dances & Fairytales

Chicago is a cultural city and why not pair music and food with a new event series?! Join me as I picnic in the park while enjoying the sounds of the Grant Park Orchestra! I'll bring a picnic basket of nibbles and sips with a blanket. Feel free to bring something to share... the more the merrier! Each time we meet for our picnic in the park, we'll come up with a picnic theme to keep things interesting. For this picnic, let's bring some childhood inspired appetizers to share that will pair nicely with the concert! This event is where we will be listening to: Dances & Fairytales Wednesday, July 15 at 6:30 p.m. Venture to the underworld, the fairy tales of Mother Goose and exotic realms in this program of pieces by Ravel, Offenbach, Franck, and Roussel. We'll be meeting in front of Harris Theatre an hour before the concert so we can scope out a picnic spot together, enjoy our picnic and toast to the evening. Hope you can make it!
