Open to all levels, this class will introduce painting materials including: surfaces, grounds and oil painting media. With emphasis on chiaroscuro painting (the distribution of light and shadow in a picture), students will learn about the essentials for creating dimensional, life-like paintings including: composition and design, values, edges, color harmony and color temperature, and paint application. Students are welcome to bring in their own objects to paint from life
