Description
In this course, you will learn to verify insurance benefits, use the CMS1500 claim form, register patients, and interpret explanation of benefits. You will also learn how to identify Medicare cards, HMO, PPO and MCO’s, Medicare, Medigap and Medicaid programs; identify and rebill claims; bill to the highest level of specificity; and process the UB92 hospital billing form. Commercial and government insurance will also be covered. Successful completion of Fundamentals of Medical Billing and Coding and Coding Applications is required.
