Barak Obam's Inauguration

We are seeking Barak Obama suppporter's that are interested in traveling economically to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500 on January 19, 2009-January 20, 2009. This initial posting will allow us to field inquires and interest and available options. I added my name to all of my local senator and congress people list. The inaugural ball is not included in the $350 transportation cost. Here are my contingent findings, due to the popularity of this event and the MLK holiday the hotels that are in the general vacinity of the White House are booked solid. I located a hotel that is approximately 2.5 hours out, but on the route to the White House. I anticipate a one night lay over to save money. This trip will take place during the early morning hours of Jan 19, 2009 and boarding the bus the evening after the inauguration and parade (this is not a gurantee of tickets to either event) I have taken on this responsibility (to gauge the interest) so that several memebers in the community be there when President Barak Obama takes his oath into office. I want to ensure that we arrive at this event safe and return home safe. I located a bus company that will change out our bus driver three times, to ensure that our driver is well rested. I am looking at a cost of approximately $350 (based on the estimates that I have reviewed) this is a significant savings. The bus will include TV, DVD/VCR, and stereo, the cost includes round trip transportation to Washington D.C. and will include your hotel, driver(s) tips, parking fees, the driver accomodations, continental breakfast at a comfortable hotel. This price may reduce based on the number of paying participants. To secure the bus you must provide a down payment of $200 per person. Due to the number of individuals that are planning this very same trip, if the bus is not secured via down payment dollars ASAP, the bus vendor will not reserve the bus with NO Money DOWN.
