Description:
The conference explores how the "politics of landscape" have changed. It asks how events like war, emerging nation-states, globalization, digitization, and climate changes have altered "landscape" as an object of inquiry and considers whether a political apprehension of the aestheticization of land encourages us to think differently about the histories that landscape congeals, conceals, or reveals.
