Event details: Activism Revisited
Description
Do shareholder activists who pursue strategic alternatives or structural changes improve corporate governance and positively impact shareholder value? How are activists communicating to institutional and retail shareholders? What is the role of notice and access in the communications mix? Will notice and access promote shareholder activism and decrease voting participation by individuals? What new trends in shareholder activism will we see this year? This event is co-sponsored by the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals.
