Description
42nd Street is a classic backstage musical directed by Busby Berkeley and starring Ruby Keeler in her film debut. The movie features classic songs like "We're in the Money" and lots of wonderful dancing! This film was nominated for the "Best Picture" Academy Award and later was adapted for the Broadway stage. Part of Music Box Theatre's summer matinee series Happy Days Are Here Again: Musicals and Comedies of the Depression Era. Tickets are $9.25 and can be purchased at the box office the day of the show. For those who are interested, we can meet for brunch beforehand or coffee afterwards.
