    I like the cure and my friend is the biggest cure fan. She's been into them since the 80's. She loves Robert Smith. She has seen them twice in concert. You must bring them back to CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back then she use to watch me when i was real little and she would turn up her stero and have me dance around to your music. and when she took me on drives in the car she would always put your cds in, so i guess you can say as a kid i've grown up with some of your music. you guys are so talented and have an amazing unique sense of sound/ style. I WOULD LOVE IF YOU GUYS CAME TO CHICAGO! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEEEEE COMEEE!!! i know loads of people would be so estatic! and my sister always talks about how she wish you would do one last concert. she's lucky she got to see you as a teenager, but unfournetly i was too young so please come to chicago and do one last concert for her and a first for me! i speak on behalf of chicago, WE WANT YOU HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Okay, words do not describe how much I love the cure. I first found out about you when I was 13 years old. Ever since then I have collected every one of your cd's, covered my room with pictures of Robert, and OBSESSED over your music. You have a way of putting all of my feelings and desires and hatred in to words. PLEASSEE come to the chicago area...I would do anything to see you live.

It all started in 1976 as 'Easy Cure', formed by Robert Smith (vocals, guitar) along with schoolmates Michael Dempsey (bass), Lol Tolhurst(drums) and local guitar hero Porl Thompson. They began writing and demoing their own songs almost immediately, playing throughout 1977 in Southern England to an ever growing army of fans. In 1978 the 'Easy' was dropped, along with Porl, and an eager trio now known simply as The Cure were quickly signed to Chris Parry's new Fiction label. In May 1979 their debut album Three Imaginary Boys was released to great acclaim, and as the band toured extensively around the UK, the singles “Boys Don't Cry” and ...
