Walking Event: Curt Gowdy State Park

A fee is required to enter the park. The walk box will be located at the fee payment kiosk just past the park entrance fee booth on the left side of the road. Hours of operation are usually 8-5, but may be open longer during the summer. Walkers must be off the trail before dark. Please do not leave registration fee in walk box. Mail the start card with registration fee to the POC using the addressed envelope which is provided. Dogs are allowed on a leash. The only restrooms are at the trailhead in Aspen Grove--the start point. Elevation is 7,507'. Trail winds through trees and rocks. A hidden waterfall may be seen if the creek run off is still flowing and for those who are willing to climb over some large boulders to the viewing vantage point.
