Forensics is a new and rapidly evolving specialty that will undoubtedly hold a significant place in the future of nursing practice. The 2nd Annual Educational Conference will host a variety of forensic practitioners who will offer insight into how nursing skills can be applied at the intersection of justice and health care. As we examine the wide range of non-traditional arenas in which nurses are becoming critical components we will learn how the patient centered care nurses give can positively impact the treatment of victims, perpetrators and their families.
