Students will learn to use the screen, toolbars, dialog boxes and help feature; create and save simple documents; perform basic editing including character and paragraph formatting; use simple format and tool options as well as page setup, print preview and print; create bullets and paragraph numbering; and use the ruler to set, move, replace and delete tabs. Additional instruction includes use of paragraph and page borders and fill; table feature; mail merge feature; built-in templates and styles; custom templates and styles; columns; and inserting and manipulating simple images.
