      Cherokee Heritage Day

      Cherokee Heritage Day celebrates Nvdadegwa, the "Big Moon" also known as the Hunter's Moon with a day of FREE, fun activities immersing you in traditional Cherokee culture. Explore your genealogy, make pottery, try dancing, hear stories, learn about the elk coming back to the mountains, and more.

      Cost: Free - Workshops on genealogy, pottery, dance, and storytelling are FREE. Demonstrations of arts and crafts in the Lobby are FREE. Regular costs apply to food and to the Museum's exhibits.
