Since the band became active in June 2006 they have played numerous shows in the Pacific Northwest. It's an ever evolving mix of energetic, atmospheric hard rock with influences from all over the globe. Now they’re at last a solid group looking forward to showing the world their music.

It was 2005 and playing music in the afternoon sounded like a good idea for guitarist Paul Mauer and bassist Rock Moore at the time. That's how they began jamming together on Mondays but after awhile the drums from a little Casio keyboard weren't enough. A few drummers tried out but no one could beat the Casio until Martinho Ribeiro showed up. On that day The Empty Hollow was born, although it wasn't until much later that the name was officially announced. The name "The Empty Hollow" came in dream form to Rock.
